martina höfflin
1971 born as a farmers daughter in South Germany close to France and Switzerland. After school she lived in St. Louis, Missouri for one year, worked as a technical designer, studied Computer Science at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Furtwangen and the San Francisco State University focussing on interaction design, usability and internet applications.

She worked as a freelance media designer for different companies and customers in Berlin, Munich and Cologne since 1999. 2002 she started teaching and researching at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and founded the Büro für Brauchbarkeit, a studio for media, art and design in Cologne. Her media art installation electronic life forms was shown at international festivals, galleries and museums as well as in public spaces in Stuttgart, Palma and Oslo..

She designed and produced her own fashion collection of Autohimmel.
Since 2013 she is running the art space Strizzi, showing contemporary, international artists.
2019 she co-founded the software company beyond interfaces, specialising in UX Design and Web App Development.

She is currently working in web design and development and lives with her family in Cologne.
